About Landlord-forum.co.uk
Welcome to Landlord-Forum.co.uk, this forum is for all landlords, letting agents and property managers to use. At the moment we cover UK Landlord issues but as the website further expands we will be looking to increase the content and make the information available more diverse. We welcome the amateur investor here as much as the professional landlord. Here you will finds lots of advice and tips for renting your property, dealing with tenant problems, landlords tax issues, advice on landlords insurance and much more.
We are free from any official connection to Landlords Associations or professional bodies like ARLA or NAEA, but we do invite landlord associations to have their own forums here and we have links to all the UK landlord Associations and professional bodies in our directory pages.
As we are independent we don't ask you to sign codes of practice or the like but we do have terms and conditions on the website for you to peruse. A smart property investor knows that doing things right, looking after tenants and staying within tenancy law is more profitable in the long run anyway!
We have made available, to registered members, a range of landlord documents that we are sure you will find useful, these include a section 21 notice for possession, section 8 notice, standing order mandate for regular payment of rent and we will be adding more soon, including an assured short hold tenancy (ast), tenancy application forms, inventory lists and more...
Please do not post ads for property to let, or advertise your letting agency, agents are free to use The Letting Agent Directory for that purpose and if you wish to rent a property to another landlord then post away, but I am sure you will find much better places on the internet to advertise property for let, see Letting Portals in our Agents Directory for a few ideas!
This website is independently owned and made up entirely of views and opinions expressed by registered landlord members of the forum. The views here are not necessarily ours and we are in no way offering professional advice, you will find experts on many subjects in the forums but you are advised to seek professional help if you cannot find an answer here.
We invite professionals from various areas to offer landlords free help and advice on the forums, if you are a professional in any area that might be of interest to our members please feel free to register and post here, if, however you wish to advertise/offer your paid for services on the forum then please contact us first! We welcome professional advisors from the world of Landlords Insurance, Finance for Buy to Let Property Investment, Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and other Tax issues, and other areas useful to landlords in the UK.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope that you like the new improved Landlord-Forum; we certainly believe it has been worth the wait. If you cannot find what you are looking for in the free content of the website then register now and post in the forum. There are always people willing to pass on their years of experience in the property field. If you have any feedback or you would like to get in touch then please Contact us!
