Private landlords can now access the Google Property Finder to advertise for tenants.

For landlords (and private sellers) it is free to advertise your property on the Google property map.

However, there is a drawback. The drawback can easily be overcome. The drawback is that your property details and images etc must be hosted on a website and be fed to display on Googles' property map. So mostly it is agents and nationwide listing services getting in on the act.

The solution is to list your property for free on a listing host such as rentopotamus.co.uk. Rentopotamus feed their listings to the Google property map daily. A 14 day listing on rentopotamus is free.

Any one can advertise their property to let (or for sale) using Googles' new and fast growing 'Google Property Finder'.

Its great for people searching for property to buy or rent.

Googles' facility is great for landlords (and home sellers) to advertise free on an even playing field with all the major local and nationwide agents.

For people searching for property (prospective tenants) it is simplicity itself as they are presented with a map which they zoom in to by double clicking the map to show properties in the area you are interested in. Or they can enter a location or postcode in to the search box. Many local and nationwide agents properties are listed.
